Since graduating in 1989 with a graphics degree from what is now the University of South Wales, I have maintained an artistic career. After a short spell as a graphic artist at a local newspaper, I have spent most of the last 25 years working as a cartoonist. My first cartoon was published by The Spectator in 1994 and thereafter I continued to contribute to magazines. Over 50 of my cartoons were published in the world renowned magazine Punch between 1997 and 2001.

For the last 15 years I have produced a weekly cartoon to the bus and coach trade journal, routeONE. In 2008 I self published a  compilation of my cartoons called 'Oddly Distracted' and my work has appeared in several UK and European cartoon books over the years.

I have exhibited cartoons as a member of the Professional Cartoonists' Organisation, have been a participating cartoonist at the Shrewsbury and Herne Bay cartoon festivals drawing large scale cartoons for the public.

More recently I have been interested in producing more personal artwork that reflect my own interests. In 2017 I had my first solo exhibition of paintings and drawings which was on the theme of the variety of architecture to be found in my hometown of Newport, south Wales.
